Inkvasion
Inkvasion is a Real-Time Strategy game set in Space. The game was made during my second year in DigiPen.
Inkvasion is a quicker take on the traditional RTS experience. With more focus on army combat over base building.
I personally worked on the HUD and UI integration. Menu systems, and scripting for the tutorial.
HUD / UI Integration
Worked with Artist to fix layouts of UI and HUD elements, designed and implemented the flow of menus. Together with the input system, managing how players select and control fleets of ships in game.
Tutorial
Using existing assets, created a short tutorial segment for new players to understand the basic controls of the game. Teaching players how to control ships, and manage resources.
Conditional Checks
Ensuring that victory and defeat condition checks are valid. Making sure that the game loop properly resets when the player exits and game and reloads a level.
